It shows with the grammatical blunders. Notwithstanding that, I could not put this book down, it was great! The dialogue is great, the sex scenes a little to graphic and the drugs are rampant, Bestabot par for a book about Prison. Best of luck on your next novel Mr Freeman!
Not an easy read - a kick in the belly on every page - you wanna laugh but mostly you wanna spit Then you wanna start it all over again - cannot wait for the next part. I really enjoyed the authors style he's very good at putting you in the scene. It's a real tough, gritty and complex little adventure!
I was cover to cover in a day and I hope there's a sequel. I'm dying to hear what happens next and if anyone actually learns to read if they'll teach others and expand the hellhole library.
I agree with the comment above about the grammar and the editor, but Not for the faint-hearted or for prudes. It is written in a very conversational tone which is hugely readable. The Teacher's homespun or should that be prisonspun? This book makes you feel happier with your lot and that can't be a bad thing. Keep writting about the experiences you had in that place you write about.
